YOU'LL NEED A

We'll send your kit to you within 2 business days. Once you've created your impression, send it back to us and we'll turn it into a wearable piece of art. Lead time varies depending on your choice of metal (sterling silver and solid gold 2-3 weeks, gold vermeil 4-5 weeks). If you require your piece by a certain date, please email us and we'll do our best to accomodate. Please keep in mind that every impression is unique and no two will look the same. Your piece will look different to the image.

Care Guide

Each RFL piece is handmade from precious metals and requires delicate care. We recommend storing your jewellery in a cool, dark place when not worn.

Sterling Silver will naturally oxidise over time when it is exposed to air, liquid and skin. To maintain the finish, please use a silver cleaning agent or polishing cloth and gently clean.

Gold Vermeil is a thick layer of gold over a base of sterling silver and is vulnerable to knocks, chlorine, soap, make-up, perfume and sweat as these agents can strip the gold. Vermeil will naturally wear over time, so we recommend removing your jewellery when sleeping, exercising, swimming or showering to increase the longevity of your piece. Gently clean use a soft cloth without any polishing agents or chemicals.

Can I take my dog / cat's nose or paw print impression?

Absolutely! This is a popular choice. Please purchase the DIY kit and follow the video prompts to collect your furry friend's impression. Any questions please email us at hello@releasedfromlove.com.au

Can I collect my baby's fingerprint?

Babies under 12 month have very faint / undefined fingerprints, so if you want something distinct, we recommend holding off until this age. You can still collect the impression and use their knuckle for an interesting pattern

I want multiple pieces of the same impression. Is this possible?

Yes! Please email us if you'd like more than 1 copy of the same impression and we can create a custom order for you.

Will my piece look like the rings in the photos?

No! Every single piece is unique and completely customised. It's up to you to create whatever shape you want. It's important that you're happy with your wax impression before sending it back to us as your piece will look exactly the same. If you need any guidance or want some feedback we are more than happy to assist.
