Hannah and Lach created my wife's beautiful engagement ring. Physical items that symbolise such a significant point in the lives of myself and my wife, the rings wrought by RFL carry the weight of their importance while maintaining the delicacy and elegance of everyday-wear pieces. The initial process of collaboration was creative and respectful, with ideas flowing in both directions. The subsequent creation of the ring is a standout testament to their dedication to craftsmanship, quality, and the tried and true path of the maker. Georgia's ring, while conceived by me, and made by RFL, is a perfect reflection of her style and personality.

We were drawn to the simultaneously archaic and contemporary language of RFL’s exisiting work. Being designers ourselves we recognised the importance of respecting the craft and skill of the makers and not being too prescriptive. The briefing process was an engaging conversational exchange, the outcome being two rings individual in character but reciprocal in concept.
